Driver built without XOrg support. And Qt libs are built with -no-xcb
option, so it's not about XOrg. I don't know how Qt draws windows without
any OS window system, but Qt 4.8 works great with QApplication::GuiServer
option and draws windows by itselves.

I think it's better to avoid replicas. I had a bad experience with Embest
replica. It has low quality expansion connectors and I couldn't make it
work with LCD cape correctly. Original CircuitCo BBB works good.
