Hi there,
I live in Upstate New York, however I know of a pup in Charlotte that is
either all berner or a mix where the berner looks are winning over whatever
the other parent was. This pup seems to have been abandoned, and has been
temporarily taken in by some kind souls while a forever home

Hi Guys,
Full results are now in. I understand that the atmosphere was ELECTRIC
around the ring with so many overseas owned Bernese entered. Judging went on
until well after 5pm - we are all keen to see what the BBC2 TV coverage shows
us tonight. I understand that some Bernese were filmed in

Kenny,
Okay, this is just one example of how loving a Berner can be.
EVERY evening, when I sit down to read or watch TV, for some reason my big
126lb Titan decides that it is time to try to fit on mom's lap. He
Does anyone know what the ingredient of the Melkfett is?
I used to buy it in Germany and my brother would send me homemade calendula
cream in Melkfett and it's the best ever. Of course ran out. Tried to make
the cream with coconut cream, but it just doesn't work the same.
Can I order it somewhere
Kenny,
Having had both breeds in residence at the same time I offer my
thoughts. I have found that Goldens want to be trained and want your input
constantly. Berners don't have that need. They are, by design of the breed
designed to evaluate a situation and act on their decisions. This caus

Does any have any info on shampoo? Kaela is 9 months old and her skin gets very dry

Hi Marjie, Leslie, Carol and other Rally fans,
I'd love to do some Rally practice. Fidelio and I took some classes and we
both really loved it. Fidelio was always the class clown, everybody loved
to watch his enthusiasm.

My lab mix developed arthritis in her wrists and hips as she aged. It seemed

Hi,
Interesting to hear the rationale for big boxes:-) In effect a bitch would
dig herself a small burrow, many of us have hauled broody bitches out from
under the deck or cave-like digs under the lilac bushes, my reason for a

Hi,
Sorry to hear Cooper has hurt himself:-( When you have heard talk of knees
and cruciate injuries these are on the back legs. The stifle joint (below
the hip near the belly and one above the hock joint, is oftentimes refered

Since the Pet Insurance question has surfaced again, I have a question to
ask those that use plans other than VPI.
Every year or so as my VPI policies come up for renewal I check around for
the various pet insurance carriers. Many of the plans I find cannot provide

That is a dilemma! As a breeder, it is hard when vets offer advice which

Hi Jen,
I borrowed a friend's whelping box that was melamine and once the heat lamp

ligaments that cross the knee joint area hence the name "cruciate".

Mark,

what determined growth, and many people still mistakenly believe that a
low percentage protein food should be fed to growing Berners. (There is
