Kenny - I'm one of those folks who had goldens before Berners, so I can give
you comparisons based on my own experience. I"m sure other people could say
something different, as each dog is different even within the same breed.
There is no doubt that goldens provide wonderful, loving companions
A thick cold fog surrounds us as I unload my skis and big overnight pack
from the car, getting ready for a three day ski camping trip in the
mountains. The Berner boys whirl around in the snow, chasing each other and
barking with excitement. I hope we will be able to climb high enough to
The Suzanne Clothier article - He Just Wants to say Hi - is indeed excellent!
If you like her article (or even if you've never read it -) I highly
recommend her new book - Bones Would Rain From the Sky. It is a very

until their dogs are much older to introduce carting, and that's f
Thank you Pat Long for pointing out all the ways that we can help the breed instead of
hand wringing and moaning about doom and gloom! Many people have contributed time and
effort to improve the lives and future of this breed - hats off to them for all they
have done and continue to do! If you
I thought I'd never get to send this email, but we finally did it!
ZenMaster Max passed Utility yesterday earning that third leg at last for his
AKC Utility title! We've had a long hard climb to achieve this result.
I've never trained any dog in Utility before, let alone a Berner, and I fu
