as Regular Maintenance. If you choose to feed an all-stage food then
seek one out that is advertised as such though most large companies now
have life-stage formulas. I would suggest if your dogs are in need of
losing a little weight then decrease their ration by half a cup a day and

I've never sent anything to the list, so I'm hoping this works and doesn't
go directly to everyone!

We have the absolute sweetest little Berner - her name is Ouisie and she
turned 7 months on Saturday. She currently weighs around 42 lbs. and people
often ask if she is a Mini
be abnormally small. We could care less how big she gets, but it
occured to me the other day that I should probably make sure there isn't a
medical reason for her petite frame. If anyone has any input, we'd welcome

If Ousie is in good flesh and health, the weight you mention indicates
Hi Eve,
Some young Berners are light in weight and this is better than weighing too
much:-) So long as he has been treated for worms and his activity levels
are good then I wouldn't worry. Some lines mature quicker than others but
if you know the parents were slow to mature then you must
in weight. (105 and 120).
Lliira is almost her dad's size and quite a bit bigger than mom. Nessie is
just about exactly mom's weight and 30 lbs smaller than dad (as well she
should be!).

Can anyone give me an idea of the % adult weight an unneutered male should
have obtained by 10 months? Han's weight has been hanging between 83 and 85
pounds since December.
Just wondering

All,
Just an update on Nanook's weight -
Now down to 126 lbs. from the 165 he was when we got
him in November of 2001.
He now actually walks the 2 miles on Duke of Gloucester
St. in Willaimsburg with no rest stops. Of course, the
cooler/colder weather helps :-)
