Not sure if there is a bug but over the weekend I upgraded SS from 6.2.1
to 6.5 and from firmware 28 to 35.
Connections are established with with SS and SN but I have noticed that
when the SB3 is turned off (and the clock is running as screensaver)
after a while the unit freezes ..the clock
It does not help... but I have exactly the same problem with 6.2.1 and a
squeezeBox 2, while SqueezeBox 3 seems to not hang.
I can mitigate this problem by using another Squeeze screensaver, like
the RSS feed for instance. The Time screensaver makes it hang almost
one day out of two.

I just signed up to the beta test for pandora and got confirmation email
from Dean that my account was set up.. but when i try to log onto
pandora using my account name and password (over the net) i am denied
access.. is there a lag time for activation on pandora's end or am i
doing something

More of a heads-up, but no doubt some users will have existing pandora
accounts, and would like to get the 90 day trial via the
SqueezeNetworks sign in. I'm sure am dense, but it wasn't apparent to
me how to do it.
When I used my existing account to try to activate my 90 day trial, it

Just a brief update on what I've found so far. As I've been messing
around with this a lot over the last weekend.
Using MySQL on Win XP with the 6.5b1 nightly from 2006-02-26.
I had 326 (some whole albums, some random tracks) out of 15000ish
tracks with no genre displayed in Slimserver. The

sorry, I got confused when I mentioned revision 6308 - I noticed it from
somewhere else, I see you're on the nightly from 26/2 so you're pretty
up to date!
If you're a code hacker you can add some extr messaging to see if you
can trap the 'genre delete' as I did in my initial bug above.

I am sure I am missing something, but when I enter my existing account
on the pandora tab, it does not play. I should have probably entered
it when originally signing up, but vaguely recall it telling me I
already had an account. The flow might need to be clearer for existing
pandora users
