Just a FYI...
In the "de facto" standard ID3v2.3 tag format, a slash ("/") is
supposed to be the delimiter for multiple names in artist related
fields. (This is rarely implmenetated, of course...) This is rarely
used and most just treat it as a single string. (Microsoft, amazingly,

Hi all,
In 6.5b1, fishbone skin, if I go to:
Browse by genre -> genre, the breadcrumb trail correctly shows (for example):
Genres / Indie
A list of artists is shown, again correct. Selecting an artist gives
a new breadcrumb trail:
Genres / The Damnwells

Thanks, gerph for your input and for your precise use of language. In
the sample file, ARTIST appears to be null-delimited just like GENRE.
There are no duplicate frames.

For what it's worth, I've had the same problem with the Fishbone skin in
6.5 for months. The problem doesn't happen with the default skin. I've
tried clearing the cache, using IE and Firefox, even using a fresh
browser on a system that has never pulled up previous SlimSever
pages...

Hi all,
I'm using a Harmony 880 universal remote with my SB1, and one of the
codes built into the online Harmony database for the squeezebox was to
jump directly to the artist list, or the genre list, etc (same as
going Browse -> Browse by artist for example).
I applied these to several differen

Hi,
I've been experimenting to get MusicIP / Magic working with 6.5b,
here's my findings so far, I got the whole thing working but for:

In my case ,this is hard to reproduce, but I know that heavy use of the
wireless module causes the laptop to hang.
For example, downloading multiple files at the same time causes the
problem, but not all the time.
I can happily use the laptop for a hour or more and then the freeze
occurs at rand
