Hi again! After a mysql update today slimserver has stopped working - I get the following in slimserver.log: Transactions not supported by database at /usr/lib/perl5/DBI.pm line 1666. The update itself consisted of security and bug fixes, so seemed safe. Versions are what's current in Debian

Did you compile DBD cie. yourself? No, I'm using the Debian testing packages. Be sure you're using the same module version as are used/distributed with Slimserver. I'll double-check the versions, but it doesn't seem a likely cause since it was working fine before with an identical perl

6.5b1 - 9064 (last nights) displays the wrong thumb nails in album art view. When i select the album it shows the right image, but the thumbnails are all mixed up. Also, clear and rescan duplicates every track again. -- dangerous_dom

Dan, Somewhat related issue, when an album has no art, the default folder picture is displayed in e.g. 'New Music' For a while now some of my albums have this on a black background, and some on white (default skin). Is there some reason behind this? James

It's interesting that I have this problem on my server when in fact SlimServer still uses its own mysql binaries when starting its server (according to the logs). Maybe it's actually the updated client module that's the problem. -- db122

nope this is in Firefox. I looked a bit closer... the pictures with white backgrounds, link to this: http://localhost:9000/html/images/cover.png And the ones with black backgrounds have links like this - but with a different url each time.

I'm currently testing the patch--thanks to some extra help from gerph. It's working well! I've scanned my collection and have not uncovered any problems so far. A re-scan using MusicMagic worked well also. I will post if I find any new problems. -- windowshade
