OK. Thanks. I finally did see the tiny little buttons floating outside
the actual Transporter skin. Whew!
I don't know about ohters, but for me the 3.0 beta Softsqueeze does not
work well when using either the Squeezbox 3.0 or Transporter skins, but
works fine with the original Squeezbox 2.x s

get the icon but it endlessly blinks like it's trying to start. MySQL

I'm doing it on a Kuro HG with MySQL 4.1.4. I'm using the Perl source
and I didn't bother "upgrading"--in fact I had been running MySQL with
6.3 and I just had it start from scratch with the Slimserver database.
I figure most of my "data" is in my FLAC tags. I had to reconfigure my
SB2 a little

Re display corruption - I believe this is now fixed in trunk and 6.5.
It occured if a player reconnected during scrolling and was due to a
recent change to the reconnect logic. Hopefully you won't see this
again!

Yes, you can run 6.5 on a Kuro HG. I am running 6.5b3 on a LinkStation
HD-HG, which is essentially the same device. I installed debian on mine
via FreeLink. If you have a different distro your details may be a
little different, but the idea is the same.

I installed the 6.5 beta1 a couple of weeks ago and, being new to this,
was trying out the different interface options, when I selected Mozes.
When I then went to choose another variant I found that the selection
list was blank (see screen shot). I then decided to upgrade the server
to beta2
I am currently running 6.3.1 on a Kurobox HG with no problems. Will 6.5
Beta 3 run fine on this box?
Also, is there an upgrade guide somewhere for linux that discusses
database and perl requirements for 6.5?

I've sent you more questions off list. I'm trying to assertain if
scrolling has not been stopped - so most of the screen updates you get
are for the old scroll, with the occasional one for the new screen.

You need the preferences button, which together with a few others is
above the top right hand corner of the "transporter". I think I had the
same problem as you when trying to find it at first - try moving the
window about on the desktop.

No plugins installed.
I never tried it without Itunes installed, but did try it with a
totally clean install of Itunes 6. I did however try it both ways -
