I haven't played with it, but is seems this can be done with a little
work, and with the help of Erland's Custom Scan and Custom Browse
plugins. Here probably is something like what you are looking for:

Did something go wrong with last night's 02/24/08 7.0.1

The build failed last night. We'll rebuild in a bit.
Thx!

Yes, it didn't build. I'm trying to build it right now.

Obviously in the big scheme of things it's not a huge problem but if it
is easy to fix then it would be a nice enhancement.
Make sure your user has access to the music folder - make him a member of the
owner's group. That's all you should need.

Ok I'm back again. Using the latest nightly with SqueezeNet Beta seems
to be working pretty solid right now. No crashes or disconnects for
the past week and things seem to operate pretty stable.
That said, I tend to connect directly to SqueezeNetwork (beta) by
disconnecting from SqueezeCenter

What is pussling is that I am using the squeezecenter distribution with

I think the nightbuild I'm using (SqueezeCenter_7.0_v2008-02-17.dmg)
doesn't work that way... When connecting trough reverse proxy, the SC
never detects my player.
I'll try the latest build to see if it was a problem of the build I'm
using.

The one on the 7.0 server page is only a jnlp file. I would like a Mac
app. softsqueeze.sourceforge.net only has 3.5 available.

I'm running the 7.0 trunk from just over a month ago and two SB3's on
firmware 86. However, sometimes (daily) I have to powercycle the SB3's
to be able to stream radio. The SB3's work just fine besides doing
radio streams, the streams just don't want to start playing.
I know I'm on a old SC
Hello there
What happens if you setup SBR from SBC both connecting to an AP (i.e.
not bridged and no ethernet cable attached to SBR)? Does the led also
stay blue when you restart your server?
By restarting the server do you mean restarting SC7 or the complete
PC?
On what platform are you
I launched via the jnlp and got 3.6 - what's wrong with doing it that
way?

I'll try to test the AP setup for you tomorrow afternoon. By
restarting server I mean power cycling the actual pc hardware. The
SC7 was installed from the squeezecenter-branch repo and is running
on Fedora 8. I'll confirm the fw version when I test with the AP setup
tomorrow.

Ok, thanks.
Could you also try if there is a difference if you only stop and
restart SC7 as opposed to restarting the PC?
Also I'd be interested to know the ip addresses of your PC, SBC and SBR
after successful setup and again after restarting your PC.
I almost forgot: Please make sure you
