Obviously in the big scheme of things it's not a huge problem but if it is easy to fix then it would be a nice enhancement. Make sure your user has access to the music folder - make him a member of the owner's group. That's all you should need. -- Michael

I think the nightbuild I'm using (SqueezeCenter_7.0_v2008-02-17.dmg) doesn't work that way... When connecting trough reverse proxy, the SC never detects my player. I'll try the latest build to see if it was a problem of the build I'm using. -- d00p

I'll try to test the AP setup for you tomorrow afternoon. By restarting server I mean power cycling the actual pc hardware. The SC7 was installed from the squeezecenter-branch repo and is running on Fedora 8. I'll confirm the fw version when I test with the AP setup tomorrow. -- gharris999
