Ok, yeah, it's there for Softsqueeze. Maybe it's just Squeezeslave
doesn't support volume adjustment.

Same issue here, and indeed server is up but file(s) is not there.
Also my Squeezebox became very slow after installing the latest nightly
build rendering my Squeezebox more or less unusable.

You have to ways to downgrade:
Downgrade the whole SC to 7.2 not 7.2.1 then choose Settings > Advanced
>Software update >begin update.
If you still want run the 7.3 beta or 7.2.1
You can go here: http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.2/
download the file named jive_7.2_r2873.bin

There are no updated Jive 7.3 binaries yet... hence, the 404 not found.
When they are available, they will get downloaded automatically.

Actually, I've drunk the google kool-aid and I'm using Chrome now to
access SC. Not for anything else, though. But Chrome does seems to
render the SC pages swiftly and process all the javascript in pretty
good order.
My comment was about the speed difference between Chrome or Firefox 3
on my pre
There are several small infrastructure changes in 7.2.1 which should
improve server performance. Its probably a collection of the
optimisations which have been introduced - anyway its supposed to be
faster rather than slower now...

I just started another thread on this issue. It seems Comodo's Defense+
is the problem. If I disable it the scan works fine. I am now trying to
figure out how to "fix" it.
