I've just uninstalled my current version entirely (deleting residue left
in Program Files) and installed todays nightly (23-Oct-2008 01:07).
The current selection tick has now been implemented and scrolling
appears to work correctly.
Settings-Advanced-TEST_PLAYBACK is no longer.

I have a beta unit that shows this message and, as of last night, it
still worked fine.
You're right it won't support playback (although I have made that work
with patching the LUA code to put in a UUID 'manually' rather than with
one read from the device).

SqueezePlay happily playing a Music IP Mix.. I made some setup changes
to the player via the web interface (e.g crossfade time, last.fm
scrobbling, changed player name), which caused the odd small audio
glitch. Then

r3173 and stumbled upon the Turn Off (SBC) menu item , which I'd
never used.

several times. So far SBC hasn't indicated any new firmware

There are no SBC firmware updates contained in SC downloads. If you
want, you can keep an eye on

You should not expect a new version of SC to contain a new version of
SBC firmware. SC checks the URL I posted whenever it is restarted and
then every 12 hours to see if new SBC firmware is available. You
should not need to download anything directly from that URL, but you
can check to see
Richard mentioned that a new update would ready IF the automated tests
passed. I'd assume they did not, so you still see 3173 in that location.
When the next build is done, and passes, then you will see a new version
on that page and any restart of SC should detect it and download for you.
