Finally got around to using Net-UDAP to set up a (wired) Receiver sans
Controller. Had it up and running in just a couple minutes. This tool
is sweet!

I got my first case of an unsynced player playing music !! Yesterday.
hopefully the new nightly will be better.
Btw, they must be very near release now as all kinds of erratic

Maybe the bin file didn't download correctly??
Have you tried deleteing the jive_7.3_r3464.bin and jive.version files
from your cache?
You may have to restart SC to encourage it to download again.

to work - hence the question.
convert.conf is in /etc/squeezecenter, but that isn't the root

I finally figured it out. I had to sync two players before syncing a
thrid with the now grouped players. I have to say it wasn't

Not that many people are that interested in this one, but...my previous
'solution' did not work. I uninstalled Firefox. Let IE become the

I have SC 7.3 - 24158.
I now only get the option to sync one player with another. How would I
get all my players to be synced? I'm sure it worked OK in v7.2.1, I
guess things have changed significantly here.

Just to let you know that you are not alone with this problem. I
updated to the latest build this evening (24179) and have the identical
error.
I tried restarting SqueezeCenter several times and even restarted the
server on which SqueezeCenter runs, but without success. A side effect
of restart

For Boom, SqueezeServer etc. we are allowed up to 1000 votes in Bugzilla
and we may vote once per bug report.
For SqueezePlay we are only allowed to cast two votes but we can put
both these votes on one bug report.
Just wondering if this is deliberate or if something needs to be
