test.mysb.com does not sync settings with normal mysqueezebox.com you
can for practical reasons use the same password, but you have to install
and configure all apps again including acount details for everything.

Yes, it's inconsistent. Probably the same on all SqueezePlay players.
On the Touch and SqueezePlay desktop I see:
* Browsing albums = AlbumArtist only. IMO, this is correct - you can't
list all TrackArtists or it gets messy.

Hello, it seems to me that there is a mess with Album Artist and Artist
displayed on the Controller (maybe Touch too). Specially if I have two
Artists in a file (FLAC).
On the Controller:
1) - Selecting an Album = only Album Name and Album Artist is visible
2) - Album selected, Selecting track =
bad luck, doesn't work (posted that in the wrong post btw) - anyway went
back to 7.5 "normal" and works perfectly...

folders, backuped the prefs and opl file and reinstalled - reused my

Just installed 7.5.0 - r30159 and it is so slow... Web UI is terrible,
scan never completed. Don't know if I should/could back to the other
version. Maybe just try ;-(

Themis, you are correct. The WHS add-in does NOT auto-update, but it
auto-downloads and alerts there is a new version.
I don't think I've seen any third party add-ins that actually
auto-update. The WHS, being server software, is architected to require
uninstall and reinstall rather than in-place
OK - thanks for the info. But I have a couple of follow-up questions..
I have the Deezer "App" running on my IpodTouch - in addition to the
"Web Radios" it also gives me the ability to select an artist under
"Smart radios" (mostly other artists in a similar genre as the artist
selected - not real
My WHS doesn't auto-update in 7.5 : it just downloads updates and states
(correctly) that an update is available.
Isn't this the usual ("normal") behavior ?

My WHS (HP MediaSmart) is auto-updating fine with 7.5.
Last weekend there was a firmware problem, but not in January when you

WOW, I'm very happy. I have updated to embedded version 7.5.0 r30159.
Scan time has improved dramatically for a full scan of ~10,000 tracks in
under 10 minutes and a rescan for new music in 10-20 seconds!
This is very comparable with MediaMonkey for a full scan and way faster
for a rescan on th
Sorry - nevermind, jumped the gun. I figured out that the firmware on
the radio needed updating. Usually it tells me this. For some reason I
didn't get the message until I tried to syncronize with another device.
Then the firmware upgrade message came up.

I can't connect my radio to 7.4.2 r30085. MY other devices are working

There was a problem last week with firmware version r8474, and the
firmware file was pulled from the server. That's why you're getting the
404 errors at the moment
I am seeing this after going back from 7.5 nightly which was updating
fine to 7.4.2, which doesn't seem to auto-update. Planning to
investigate more over next cuple of days - coudln't find anything
obvious in a quick look around settings.
