I goes crazy. Now I switched "persist playlists" on and the performance
become terrible. So the screen server is not the main causer.
I can't hear music.

I reported this problem on what is apparently a different Logitech
Squeezebox forum :
"Whenever I press the snooze button my alarm comes back on in a minute.
When I press it the second time it stays off for the correct amount of
time (10 min), but then the next time it comes back on in a minute
My server is currently at 102MB for 7.5.2 and 94MB for 7.6.0. MySQL is

I've only seen memory usage above 120 MB when there's either a memory

SQLite has parameters to keep more of the database in memory, if you
want to use the CLI you can set them:
Docs here: http://www.sqlite.org/pragma.html
To set a pragma over CLI just run: "pragma cache_size=1"

My 7.5 box is using 187Mb+55Mb for mysqld. My 7.6 box is using 90Mb.
That's pretty impressive.
But, actually, it isn't what I want.
Are there any values I can tweak, maybe in the database code, to ask
SbS to use more memory, rather than trying to use less?

Even if all players are switched off, the CPU goes all 3 seconds upwards

Hello,
I think there is still a bug with the playlist. The performance is not
so good as before. At regular intervals the CPU goes upwards to 99
percent. Sometimes and for a longer time I've "nothing" displayed in
the actual playlist.
My plugins are TrackStat and Dynamic Playlist but I think th
The most recent one is Version: 7.6.0 - r31215 (afaik). :)

Bog-standard FreeBSD FFS/UFS+SoftUpdates, with no symlinks anywhere in
the tree. The messages relate to files throughout the filesystem, not
just in the misc subdir. Physically it's

What type of filesystem is /music and what sort of directory is misc? Is it a

After a virgin 7.6 finishes the initial scan, the auto-rescan kicks in.
The first thing it does is log hundreds of messages along the lines of:
