You will not blow your speakers if volume is set to 100 on either boom
or radio. We specifically dealt with this in both products.
This bug is very important for me to fix quickly, as it's a horrible
bug, but a) it will not break your product and b) the issue is only in
beta software and only
Frustratingly 16475 remains unconfirmed... problem persists with 9057
firmware. This is getting REALLY redious.
HOW CAN I HELP?

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...
Touch(wired/XP) - TACT 2.2X (Linear PSU) + Good
Do you want any of the inbetween version to try with or do you already
save copies of all *.bin files like me .
Maybe start from a very old fw and upgrade 1 version at the time until
it breaks (or not) .
I can not confirm , my radio was in this state but it recovered
controller or Touch is ok
I checked out 7.6 31254 and had a go with the dbhighmem setting.
Searches are much quicker, and so far my SliMP3 hasn't glitched when I
search during playback. I'm using SQLite.
Colour me happy.

They only want you when you're seventeen,
When you're twenty one, you're no fun.
I just found my first example of incorrect artwork: :)
[image: http://www.xenopsyche.com/ip/tmp/screenshot.0.png]
So: can I make the image go away and have my next rescan try to pick it
up again? I guess it's wrong in the web server's cache, too? Any
protocol planned for Joe User to report

Is there an answer to my earlier question?
Once a cover is automatically downloaded by SbS, can the user later add
a cover.jpg or embedded image and have it override the auto image?
(Without having to do something drastic such as clear the whole
DownloadedArtwork directory and start over.)

Could you please check what _exact_ metadata you have in those files.
IMHO it should find the correct artwork (from what I see in your
screenshot). Don't know why it fails.
Duh. The album is called *The *Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. If you look
it up on last.fm's web

It would be nice to be able to rescan for only new and changed
artwork... maybe the auto-rescan does that.
I think Andy mentioned elsewhere that only audio files were being
monitored.
Artwork cataloging still needs a lot of redesign work before something

No: the scanner is looking whether the
Good point. I think the warning should go away once everything is in
the database, even if artwork retrieval is still being done.
Please file an enhancement request/bug report.
