Yeah, the debian repo for SBS isn't up to date. You can go to
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/ to download the 7.6.1 deb
package. Then install via:
sudo dpkg --install [path and filename to deb file]
It's a couple more steps, but it works. One thing I recommend is

Yebbut codecs aren't part of "slimserver". It's all open source.
Serious outsiders would do well to consider the complexity of the
current code, and perhaps contribute rather than fork.

To my knowledge most code is free (GPL) but some codecs are closed
source (and of course all integration stuff to streaming services,
which is hosted on mysb.com).
There is no dedicated license about all the images, so they must be
considered Logitechs property as well.

Did you check if all your playlists are complete? On my side, the
scanner found my playlists but they are incomplete (songs are missed).
I'm using 7.6.1 v. 32935 i386-readynas.bin with iTunes integration. We
almost reach our goal. Thank you Andy!

I upgraded my production server to the latest nightly 7.6.1 (r32935) by
stopping SBS, installing the new software and restarting. Wandering
around the house I noticed that all three SB Radio's had switched
themselves on and were sitting showing "Nothing" on the now playing
screen. Likewise one SB
Well I've made a little progress, but it's still not working - this time
with 7.6.1 r32935.
I've deleted the path to the old artwork folder in case that was a
problem, and also removed the tick to use iTunes.
After a clear and rescan all goes well until the artwork scan starts -

I mean a totally empty library.
The 20322 scanned files that were found during the scan were no longer
available after it finished, and the library stats reported zero files.
In addition there was no Playlists entry on the web UI.
