Same same. Codec processing is on the players, not the server. Where it does take place on the server, for transcoding between audio formats, it's independent of any audio system that may happen to be on the server. It's just a data processing operation. -- JJZolx

before I left my home this morning, I figurd how to get dlna going this included a reboot and opening of port 9998 etc. Plugplayer for iPad could see LMS and all my players :) but imideatly crashed when I pressed the browse button:( LMS did not crash, but the plugplayer crash is instant.

I hope that's all true. Scanning of audio is a little bit faster in 7.7.0 than in 7.6.2, but I question whether scanning is as stable yet. Other functionality is largely unchanged. Probably the biggest change is finally having the ability to specify more than one Music Folder. For Squeezebox
