Is this using 7.9? When you say you had seen the same issue for a while,
what LMS version had you been using

Yes, with other stations the same issue occurs.

you're right, the CURRENT server.log is empty. it was last re-rolled
(gripped archived) on July 26.
Last entries were from July 25 when my internet connection was broken
and the server could not resolve addresses.
I used the internal search of Squeezebox to pickup my radio stations.
