Yes if the DAC conected to for example Touch does not support DoP ,
DSDplay will transcode to some PCM format on the fly .

Sorry to say triode is not here much these days to answer :(
Run LMS on another machine just for the DSD files (you can have more
than one LMS in the network ) you are not likely to need

There is no way to listen DSD on ARM based LMS? It's so sad. I converted
DSD to PCM early. Now I want to listen DSD from one database, from one
server and one device. Or tell me a model of i386 based NAS device on
the cheap.
