If I navigate Home > Composers > [Pick one] > Sort by... Album, things
appear in this order:
Symphony 10
Symphony 11
Symphony 13
Would they be listed the same way in the Album list?

Probably not particular to 7.9; would be a good thing to fix.
I went farther by stopping LMS and deleting the .db files. Things appear
to be working normally, though with over 100,000 tracks it won't finish
for a while.
How much memory do you have? If you're new to 7.9 it might be worth
going to Settings/Advanced/Performance and up the Database Memory
All working well on my Ubuntu 16.10 system. I then did a re-scan to make
sure that is OK, and it is. :)
LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 16.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps.
LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to A308CR amp & ESLs) &
Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers.

I have another identically-configured Wandboard Quad

I upgraded from a relatively recent 7.8.1 nightly to the 7.9rc. At first
missing icons in playlist after the upgrade. But after a complete
clear library plus a reboot of my (LMS/)NAS, icons where there

which I didn't notice
Works fine so far:
Installed and went on playing my music in minutes. It's a Linux mint 18

Thank you.
After LMS restart (and plugins update) there are no annoying warnings in
the server log:)
