In older releases this usually resulted in the album being found under
Emancipator and some broken pseudu album lingering in emancipator or
similar weird outcome untill a complete scan is performed.

would make it to the log by default .
i do this rescan as if it has something to do with that empty
playlist bug I just reported, mabe it also broke the dB.

But the failure must be in a similar fashion somewhere else.

What OS I do have a bunch of rpm packages , due to my own paranoina i
save a copy off each installer..

Put the folder.jpg in before the scan , thats the only thing that works
or move over to embedded art they are detected by scan for new and
changed (if the file time stamp has changed so that sbs notice that
the file has changed)

is the setting to disable auto scan really removed from the web-UI ?
That would be stupid on a grand scale ?

This could actually work better with 7.6 as scan does not block small
servers completely anymore old sc/sbs can do that on smaller hardware
making the squeezeplay device losing server contact during some phases
of the scan most likely artwork scan.

kinds of selectable options and filters it is very
