, sometimes it was white,
sometimes I pushed the button to make it flash red.
Keep in mind that the SBR was playing music for much of the day because
I was able to set it up successfully with the old SBC.

If my experience with recent betas is any indication, I would say SC7
will be ready about 2 years after Duke Nukem Forever ships...

it was just dead batteries, but no good.
Am I correct in that unplugging the SB3 during a firmware update is a
no-no?

I might add that my other SB3s have no problem finding SC7, so it's
definitely not a network issue.

If you are able to upgrade the firmware on the new remote via the
network rather than SD card that might be worth trying. Just another
hunch though.
Wouldn't it have to connect through SC7 to get the network update?

Yes, it looks like there's a problem with the new SBC.

Ok, and can you choose that? And can you play music with it?
When I choose it, it looks for music sources, lists SqueezeNetwork as
the only music source, but won't allow me to select SqueezeNetwork.

, the controller could not fine SqueezeCenter during the
scan...actually, it still cannot find SC7, so that's probably not a
scan issue

I'm getting very weary of watching the wheelie spin around and get

Here's the issue:
On the old SBC, the firmware is:

The new SBC has firmware #30 from Feb 11.

The PICTURE option is very cool, a feature I've been wanting for years.
But I'm a little confused about how to implement it - do you have to do
it as an encode option, or can you add it later? Would you have to
decode/encode while adding it?
