Took me a while to figure out how to do this. I configured mp3tag options under Tags > Mpeg to remove APE tags *only* (before it was stripping all tags). Then I just used the Remove Tag option for all the affected files. m

Useful advice. I downloaded the latest SC nightly and tried installing from the SC > Extras > SQ web page - and 3.6 is now installed and working fine! :-) However that page also refers to the outdated SQ download page, but sorry I've no idea how to file a bug.

Solved it. I uninstalled SC (still had to kill off the SC app though) and this time ran the installer using "Run as Administrator" (vs just running it from the browser download box) - and it all seems to be working fine now!
