Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Request: Test new SqueezeCenter Debian Package

I removed previous versions on Ubuntu with apt-get remove, had to remove the stuff from update-rc.d and then did a apt-get clean. Then apt-get install squeezecenter. It appears to install fine however, no /etc/init.d/squeezecenter is created! -- orangechicken

Well I went back and did: Code: apt-get remove squeezecenter dpkg --purge squeezecenter apt-get install squeezecenter That seemed to clear up that particular issue. -- orangechicken

On OS X.5 (Leopard) with the latest Firefox I find that I get the Beachball of Death for a second or two after every page load. Anybody else see this? During those couple of seconds, nothing responds. Probably running some javascript code or something. -- orangechicken

I'm still unable to update the firmware. Holding Brightness down when prompted just results in the SB freezes and requires me to pull the power. -- orangechicken orangechicken's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com

A link for information on how to get that info for you? Reverting to the nightly from 12.10 (didn't try 12.11 or 12.12) works (but I assume those don't have the firmware change). -- orangechicken orangechicken's Profile
