I'm currently testing the patch--thanks to some extra help from gerph.
It's working well! I've scanned my collection and have not uncovered
any problems so far. A re-scan using MusicMagic worked well also.
I will post if I find any new problems.

can't navigate with the right arrow at all on
songs with Track Artists but no Artist.
Please see the report for details and some sample files. (Apologies if
this is a duplicate. I ran a couple searches and failed to find a

index, shouldn't Track Artists be handled in the same way as other

Track Artists _shouldn't_ be searchable. In what context is that

Just to reiterate: I'm not applying tags called TRACKARTIST. I've
pointed out some problems I associate with the internal TRACKARTIST
role.
The problems outlined above arise once artist
name is removed from role 1 (ARTIST) and give role 6 (TRACKARTIST) for
a given track.

In this case, setting a COMPILATION tag does nothing at all, AFAIK. The
above example is listed and sorted as 'Trainspotting by Original
Soundtrack'. 'Original Soundtrack' is visible under browse Artists.
