You will not blow your speakers if volume is set to 100 on either boom
or radio. We specifically dealt with this in both products.
This bug is very important for me to fix quickly, as it's a horrible
bug, but a) it will not break your product and b) the issue is only in
beta software and only

Thats not because of the bug itself, it's annoying but still does not
stop the squeezebox to function, you can set the volume after the
player is selected .
But because other treads about people blowing BOOM
The same happens when switching between my SB3 and BOOM with the
controller
Volume get set to 100% on BOOM or SB3 .
Also the same happens whether I have 100% fixed volume on Touch or
not.
Tried with Touch volume at 80% all players still gets 100% when
