Heh, the reason is most likely because last week we were all at an
onsite week-long meeting, planning out 7.6 among other things. Things

Well, I'm one of those persons who HAS a large database (185.000 tracks)
and I have to admit: 7.6sqlite starts quick (20.000 tracks scanned in 20
minutes) and gets slower so it take about 6 or 7 hours for a full
rescan.
But the worst is, tha 7.6sqlite uses much more system ressources than
7.5trunk

Development had been rather intense when a product launch depended on
it, and it's understandable if there needs to be a break now, if only
for humanitarian reasons. However, I really would like to see 7.6 to
get to release quality and become a released product.
Related to that question is whethe

MySQL from Squeezebox Server. Installation problems, permission
problems, virus scanner headaches, etc. It's especially difficult to
manage on Windows, but is compounded by having to support several
