Heh, the reason is most likely because last week we were all at an
onsite week-long meeting, planning out 7.6 among other things. Things

Well, I'm one of those persons who HAS a large database (185.000 tracks)
and I have to admit: 7.6sqlite starts quick (20.000 tracks scanned in 20
minutes) and gets slower so it take about 6 or 7 hours for a full
rescan.
But the worst is, tha 7.6sqlite uses much more system ressources than
7.5trunk

Development had been rather intense when a product launch depended on
it, and it's understandable if there needs to be a break now, if only
for humanitarian reasons. However, I really would like to see 7.6 to
get to release quality and become a released product.
Related to that question is whethe
