When I got my SB3 I ran 6.2.1 (wireless server) and SB3 wireless FW 28.
MP3's were OK, FLACs dropped out like crazy.
My wireless signal (802.11g) was showing between 18 and 24 MBPS with
low signal strength - which I believe should have been fine for FLACs -
the wireless server nearby had no probl
Bug #3125 has also been raised on this. Latest word is not much progress

I am sure I saw a thread on FW29 bug some time ago and stangely I could
no longer find it anymore.
I believe considerable number of beta testers like myself are having
this same problem. See
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2984.

Tnx Moby :)
I really don't know what else to do (and btw, my problem is totally
like yours .. wired all perfect, using Wi-Fi buffer goes empty, and i
have nearly 90% signal, and i can assure you, the Wi-Fi is working
good, seems really a bug with fw29-33-35) :(

I've got the same problem, posted in this thread:

I've been in touch with support and they were working on a fix - just
asked for an update now and will advise when I hear anything.

Dean, nope, my issue is (my fault, i read wrong ^^; )related to the
buffers of the Slimserver going empty after a while (something that it
never happened until FW 29) i'll explain better:
Clean install of Slimserver 6.2.2 (20/2) with FW 33
Update FW on SB3

Danguard,
When you say "this problem" you mean that only one song plays and then
it stops? When it stops, what does it say on the display? (is it
stopped, or does it think it's playing the first song still, the second
song?) Also, what kind of songs are you trying to play and do you have
shuffl
I'm having this issue too since FW 29 but with FW 28 everything was ok
:(
I'm using the following access point:
Sparklan WX-6800 Turbo-G with firmware v.1.3.06 nov 24,2004
Hope this issue will be solved soon, it's 1 nearly month that i can't
install any nighty release :(

Hello Hans,
same problem I noted when I upgraded to 6.22 nightly 02-15. I
eventually rolled back to fw28. Yesterday I installed 02-16 nightly
with fw33, and this works fine.

By muddling around in the depths of my Cube's filesystem, I discovered
where (most) SlimServer related files live, especially those in my home
directory.
I deleted them all and reinstalled tonight's nightly, and FW33 is
marveling since then. It is not obvious that some files are in
'Caches'.

I also had this problem this morning.
I didn't have time to investigate further but I suspect it's caused by a
plugin callback.
(maybe mine!)
Error was something like "can't call method getPref on an undefined
value".

In addition to my post yesterday:
Something else than FW alone must be wrong over here:
I usually test the nightlies on my 'main music server' only, which is
an old Mac Cube. Perfect for this 'always on' task as it has no fan.
And just on this one machine I can't get SlimServer and FW29 or FW33
