I realise FF3 might not yet be supported, but seeing it's probably not
that far away (guessing) I thought I'd try my luck here.
Basically the issue is that SqueezeCenter hogs all CPU. It's most
prevalent when something is playing in the right frame, but the general
performance is also worse
This has been seen with other versions of Firefox, and usually seems to
be somehow related to plugins.
I believe the last time this was discussed, Firefox's DOM Inspector
plugin seemed to be the culprit.

Adblock (or similar) and Firebug are other add-ons which can cause
problems. Not in all cases reproducable. But it's always a good guess
starting with a clean installation, all add-ons
