This may be a good sign if you're anxiously awaiting the release of
7.5.1. Instead of fixing a firmware bug marked with importance of "P1
Major", they're putting it off until the next release and disabling the
feature instead.

SBS 7.51 has the nasty habbit of exlcuding some playlist entries with
foreign characters, like "Björk".
SBS 7.60 with SQLight works great with this. But this version is still
developing rapidly, so it can be a rollercoaster ride with all kinds of
strange bugs, depending on the nighty build.

There are two bugs that remain open targeted for 7.5.1. One looks like
a non-issue and hasn't even been confirmed, but they appear to be
having a hard time with the other:

So it's not yet to the point of being a release candidate.

Thanks for your reports. I'm glad to hear 7.5.1 runs stable.
I'm mainly asking for an official release, because some developers,

Same here. 7.5.1 is safe to use. Been using it for weeks.

7.5.1 is actually a 7.5.0 with fewer bugs. So in my opinion you
shouldn't worry about trying it. I have for 3 weeks now because I
wanted the fix for fadein on alarms. And I haven't had any problems
with it. So if it has a bugfix that is a problem for you then go ahead.

I have the impression that 7.5.1 is pretty much ready for primetime. Am
I mistaken? Do you have any target date for an official 7.5.1 release?
I'm asking, because I'm looking forward to some of the ALAC
changes/fixes in that release.
Thanks
Andreas
