Of course, having to work around a lot of these quirks would solved if
we could have additional user-defined 'multi-level' browse modes, e.g. a
'Composers by Genre' browse mode. Would that just take adding 'Genre'
to the 'Browse by' option list? Could it be as easy as that?

album's album artist, but only an artist's track when browsing by some
