As of revision 28600 we'll be including the Visual C++ runtime libraries
with the Windows installer. Though this most of the time is already
installed by some other application, we've seen complete failure of SC
lack of them on pretty clean Windows systems.

Please try the following procedure:
- uninstall SqueezeCenter
- reboot
- run the dbcleanup add-in
- reboot
- reinstall SBS 7.4
- reboot
I think you need to reboot as otherwise the second instance won't be stopped.
We're investigating that issue. But the above procedure did help me get it up
