I've been informed this feature is commented out in the code. This is
really bad news, time control is a fundamental feature for the fluid sim.
Please could this be solved ASAP?

I would love to see this in trunk!
It is in trunk now :)
There are also some more quirks or missing features in the outliner.
- I would find it much more consistent to select with RMB in the
outliner (and in Filewindow like in 2.49) with RMB (but RMB is context
menu)
Kind of a moot point I
We discussed this in IRC - at the moment the outliner has both

this is needed for world/material/... any ID's that dont have

I wanted to add one more big problem.
When you switch between materials, textures and other stuff and come

to roll your mouse button on it and it scrolls into view. This is a
dumb problem that should not exist. When it first

As a long time Blender user, I have to say that I a very concerned about

Hi,
I noticed that the tkinter python module is stripped out from the Blender
Python installation. Is there a reason for this? Threading issue? Security
Concern?
Just wondering, since what I am working on projects that can really benefit
from having a built-in, cross-platform UI module.
Thanks!

@mindrones,
This could work but would like to know...

Hi Mike,
Be also aware that tkinter + blender is not working well in Blender cocoa
builds (osx). It may be a python bug or a cocoa bug, we don't know.
I'm following Jens Verwiebe (our OSX maintainer) solution and using
AppleScripts instead. It works great if you don't use with trackpad mouses

things he suggested.
