[Bf-committers] Should the grease pencil tab be renamed?

2014-06-17 Thread gandalf3
The grease pencil tool has an entire tab on the tool shelf named after itself, however this tab contains (currently one) other tool (the measure tool). I also noticed that the measure tool is in the same panel/collapsible section as the grease pencil tool, though they seem like pretty separate

[Bf-committers] Scene Panel (UI Proposal)

hi guys. I have an idea to add Scene Panel. It will contain all scenes and rooms. It will be very useful to see how many scenes a blend file has. The way to implement them as Chrome/Firefox have tabs. Explanation: http://i.imgur.com/w3nU2w0.png Thanks.

It'd be cool to have it in trunk, yes. My students have been complaining about having to keep up with the addon themsleves too. Guess we'll have to ask Piotr about it and get it reviewed by the devs. On 17 June 2014 13:08, Paul Geraskin paul_geras...@mail.ru wrote: +1 This should be in the

[Bf-committers] Design considerations for data handling in the depsgraph

Just from outside, but I'd like to ask this: today I met something interesting in the bugs section. There was a calculation to get one object's derivedmesh on a sub-frame time position between two frames. The goal was to calculate this fast, without involving independent objects of the scene.
