My name is Ivano Arrighetta and I'm Italian.
I would like to suggest to migrate to GitHub for version control, and to
use CMake for creating build projects for Windows and Mac OS, other than
Makefiles for *nix.
GitHub also offers a WebSite builder and a Wiki for each repository

Right, well as said by others here you can use the existing ones together
with Blender.
Yes, the idea is about midi sequencing in blender and sound playing
is supported,
all you need to do is dig around and find the needed examples/scripts
and features.
