What I use is a .22 caliber High Standard two shot derringer. Very light. Fine varmint shot in the 1st barrel, slug in the 2nd, just in case. The shot load stings feet and with the noise it's always worked. I got tired of spending lots of money on sprays. Yes, I am licensed to carry in

Yeah, as I'm sitting around healing this broken shoulder I'm wondering what I'll carry once I'm back up and riding. Bear spray did come to mind. I've only seen canisters that would be bigger than I'd want to carry on a bike, but something smaller might work well. On Wed, Apr 25, 2018 at 10:28 AM,

I had a pit bull incident several years ago at the same address- The dog pinned me up and I fended him off with my bike- called the police and they came to rescue me. The owner got two tickets for having dogs at large. She has not learned her lesson. Very dangerous. > On Apr 24, 2018, at 4:57

Hello all, This is just a heads up to keep a lookout for two loose pit bulls at the address below when riding outside Evansville. I was heading east into town last Sunday when one of them got a bead on me and made a beeline through the yard, ignoring its yelling owner. At the last second it
