Let the birding begin! Fine weather over the past week had birders out all
over the place checking out the arrival of new migrants in the area. TREE

Today shortly after having seen the Back Backed Woodpecker,
on HW 60 at km 8, we stopped to observe a raptor at km 15,
when by incidence, I found a beautiful male

Yesterday we were with Ron Tozer's led OFO group in Algonquin park and had a
wonderful time.
Today morning we were heading back to the park and stopped at km 8.
At the very utility pole where we stopped there was the male Black Backed
Woodpecker.

Eleanor Beagan and I birded the Carden Alvar while going to and from the
OFO Algonquin Park trip. The birds were easy to see because the vegetation

by 69 OFO members and friends. We started at the West Gate at 9 a.m.,
