Today's high winds, which closed the Skyway Bridge
during this morning's rush hour, should be

period around noon. There were lots (1000's?) of Bonaparte's there but she
was unable to find anything else. I made a brief check of the Peace Bridge

While most songbird activity at Presqu'ile Provincial Park has
stabilized at a level reminiscent of winter birding, there continues to
be variation from day to day along the shores and in the water. In
particular, the freezing of the marsh for a couple of days earlier in
the week forced the

Birders,
Late afternoon at Jack Miners yielded 3 Greater White-fronted Geese feeding
with Two Richardson's Geese, no doubt provided by the strong westerly winds.
At the shoreline of lakeside park in Kingsville there was 4 Snow Geese(3
adults and one juv.) of which I have not see so far this

On the way to Hoak's lakeside restaurant in Athol Springs (near Hamburg
NY)in my quest for Jaegers on 11/13/03 about 8 AM approx. 30 snow geese were
attempting to cross the Niagara River from Buffalo just south of the peace
bridge and were not making much headway. At Hoak's saw one possible
Today (13 Nov) a single PINE GROSBEAK briefly visited Arrowhead Provincial
Park. It was at the Ontario Parks Central Zone office, which is the first
left turn after crossing the Big East River after entering the park, around
11 a.m. The park is about 5 km N of Huntsville on Hwy. 11 in northern
