(Mitchell) today...at least until a juvenile Peregrine made a couple of hunting

This afternoon at 4:00 pm. there were two Buff-Breasted Sandpipers at the
Beeton Sod Farms on the north side of the 10th concession about 1 km west of
the 15th sideroad.
There was also in excess of 120 American Golden Plovers and Black-Bellied
Plovers. I also counted about 10 American Pipit
Good Day.
Today I joined Gunner Bessell to bird the Toronto Islands. WE started at the
Hanlans Point end and this was where the bulk of the birds were as well as
another large group on Gibralter point opposite the Trout Pond.
Our best bird of the day in our opinion was way along on Wards Isl

A friend and I were at Deschene Rapids today and noticed what appears to be
a male American Wigeon with a female mallard.

Spent the morning birding along the Ottawa River from Deschenes Rapids
to Shirley's Bay. There was an good movement of Canada Geese with over 200+
flocks counted in 2 hour heading south plus 2 adult Peregrines. Off Dick
Bell Park I observed 1 Red-throated Loon, 17 male Black Scot
At noon on Sunday, October 7, I had a Northern Mockingbird at the south end of
High Park, Toronto. The bird was about 50 meters west of Colborne Lodge drive,
directly across from Grenadier Pond. It was perched on the hydro lines.
