past me while I was counting birds on Kettle Point. It continued on towards
Grand Bend.

A flock of about 10 evening grosbeaks visited my feeder at our cottage on
Rankin Lake, just south of Parry Sound. They were accompanied by the usual
chickadees, white breasted nuthatches and blue jays.

The flock of Bohemians I reported earlier in November have stayed around our
house for the last few days. Today they were close by and at the same time a
late migrating Pheobe stopped in the backyard for a short rest.

A female Red-bellied Woodpecker has been seen at Riverwood in various locations
the past three days. Today it was seen from the patio at the back of MacEwan
Field Station and also along the trails in the valley.
