Thanks Brian, Things are always changing when the shorebirds are moving through - here one hour (or minute!) then gone the next! I was thrilled to be able to get out & see the Red Phalarope & 31 (!!!) Hudsonian Godwits from 1 - 2:30 PM today ( lucky day off work! ). A Merlin was stirring things

This morning at Shirelys Bay, Ottawa there were many shorebirds as was reported yesterday by Mark Gawn. I was there from 8:30 to 9:15 with good visibility and no rain. Highlights were a Marbled Godwit and a juvenile Red-necked Phalarope. Also present were Black-bellied (2) and Semi-palmate Plover
