The gull has been seen on and off since 26 Feb on the edge of the harbour ice.
It was seen again this morning but is not visible at present. Found by Peter
Middleton.

I ran into Rob Pinilla at the Varied Thrush site east of Ottawa and we
wandered out to the Castleman area birding. The Lafleche LeBlanc Dump
was excellent for gulls. The highlight was a near immaculate adult
California Gull (nearly completely white head, clearly heading into
A golden eagle was soaring over Lindsay Lake (2 km north of Opinicon Road,
accessible via the Lindsay Lake Trail) at 4 pm today. This may be the same bird
that has been seen along Opinicon Road periodically since Feb 23. The eagle has
been seen most frequently in the vicinity of the small
