Just north of Copeland rd on Dwyer Hill there is a pond just near #2980. There
are numerous Pipits by the pond, on the wires and in the air calling. Maybe 30
total. Seen at 9 am.

Hey Birders,
Posting for Nathan Miller.
Nathan observed a 'nice' Yellow-headed Blackbird this afternoon (14:30hrs) at
the corner of Concession 3 and Gracey Sideroad, about 3km NW of Tilbury. The
bird was in a large flock of E. Starlings and BH Cowbirds. This is likely a

For about 1.5 hours the hawk watch got reasonably good today, but outside that
the rain, and unfavorable winds didn't produce much of a flight

I am always a tad reluctant to positively identify Cackling Geese, being
fully aware that variables other than size may influence one's perception of
the species. Today at Reesor Pond in Markham I observed two very small
geese, barely bigger (if at all) than the ubiquitous Mallards. The neck
