On May 30 I observed 2 Mockingbirds from the Greenway at the end of Industrial
Rd. Then on the 3rd of June, I saw 1 bird at the intersection of Lansdowne and
the Greenway.

Sorry for the tardy post - I was in the field until today.
Yesterday I found a 1st alternate male Blue Grosbeak singing in what appeared
to be very suitable habitat, south of Niagara Falls, just off the Niagara
Parkway where Detenbeck Road terminates.
The area is late successional old fie
04.06.13 - 8am at Reesor Pond - 1 Red-necked Phalarope [f] - sightedby Gail and
Ted George - conditions seemed too cold for it to find foodso if flew after
half-an-hour or so - Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy407 on Reesor Road in

A Magnificent Hummingbird was identified coming to a local feeder yesterday
morning. Unfortunately it was very skittish and only fed briefly before
disappearing so we don't have a photo.
The feeder was watched all day yesterday but It was not seen again and it
hasn't returned yet this mornin
