I've had a few people asking if the bird has been seen today and I'm happy
to report that I got a text around 11 am to let me know the bird is
present.
If you arrive and you don't see it right away, be patient and wait a bit -
the bird sometimes moves to the opposite side of the break

Hi Everyone
Spent most of the day birding the Ottawa River between Shirley's Bay and
Britannia. With good birding weather conditions, intermittent rain and a low
cloud ceiling, it was great. The highlight of the day was an adult Long-tailed
Jaeger flying west off Andrew Haydon Park harassing a
