Today at around 5:45 p.m. I saw and heard a Common Raven in Scarborough.
This is likely one of the pair of Ravens that were seen earlier this year at
Ashtonbee and Pharmacy, by the Bell tower.

My Dad, son and I birded Lake Travers in Algonquin Park today hoping to
capitalize on the forecast storm. The rain fizzled out so it was not
superb, but we did find a few good birds. Highlights were a juvenile Great

Recently I posted sightings at the Almonte Lagoons and I provided directions
that were in part incorrect. This has lead to some birders unknowingly

Am looking at an O/S right now. Follow Rick's excellent directions. Once in the
dead tree area, be prepared to explore...it took me quite a few minutes to find
the bird. Perched high but not at tree top. Also, nuthatches, woodpeckers, etc.

This morning, from about 0603-0613, John Brett and I observed 12 Great
Egrets disperse from their roosting area along Lynde Creek in the Lynde

trees on the west side of the creek as well as in the lower reaches of
shrubs and small
