This afternoon I observed a raven on Regional Road 88, a few hundred metres
west of the intersection with Side Road 5. It flew from north to south and
perched on a fence post on the south side of the road.

This morning there were good numbers of Brant (2 flocks of about 50 each) and
all three scoters on Lac Deschennes, Ottawa, best viewed from the point at Dick
Bell Park. The scoters were mostly in small active flocks, several of which
were put up by a passing adult Bald Eagle. Numbers are guessti

For information about ONTBIRDS including
AT 10 AM this morning I found a flock of 12 Black Scoter (9M 3F) out in
the middle of the Ottawa River. I found the birds from the Deschennes
Rapids Lookout on the John A Macdonald Parkway (Ottawa River Parkway).All
in breading plumage.

bordering Goodfriend Drive and Havenwood Trail on Howe Island (Kingston
