Ontbirds subscribers,
The male Eurasian Wigeon was still present off Thickson Point in Whitby as the
sun was setting this evening for those who might still wish to see it. It was
with more than 100 American Wigeon just east of the point itself and visible
from Crystal Beach Boulevard.

Hi all, on my way to Toronto at 5pm this evening via car, saw approx. 20 Rough
Legged Hawks with at least 1 light phase. They were flying west, over the
Queensway approx. 1 mile west of High Park and not very high above the road.
Very unusual sight (for me).
Cheers, Ian

approached from the northeast, then it flew due west towards me, circled
slightly to the northwest and then headed due south and out of sight.
Hello All;
This morning around noon I saw two dark phase Rough-legged Hawks on the
telephone lines west side of the Forester's Falls road northeast of Cobden. I
was able to get within approx. 100m and observe and photograph one of them
through the windshield.
Later this today (~1pm) another o
