Hello everyone
A few good birds today in Fort Erie.
At the lake end of Kraft Road I located a Juvenile American Golden-Plover, 1
Dunlin, 3 Killdeer and 35+ American Pipits.
At the lake end of Crescent Road we found 3 Cackling Geese.
Cheers
Marcie
Directions: Take the QEW to the Thompson Road
Just west of 12th Ramsay on Panmure Rd I came across a single Pipit walking
along the side of the road. Parked right beside him for several minutes before
he flew. He flew west down the road but I did not relocate him.
You can get there by going west on 417 from Ottawa and exit at Panmure roa
Last Saturday, I reported a very cooperative bird at Rondeau’s Pony Barn as a
male Brewer’s Blackbird. Since then, several Southern Ontario experts have
studied my photos and video.
All have concluded that the bird is a male Rusty Blackbird. I’m grateful to
these excellent and unselfish birder
