First evening I've seen/heard them overhead. Last year during Swift Watch, I
identified the Stirling Creamery Chimney as a roosting site - there might be
one other site in the Village, as yet unidentified.The Creamery is in the heart

results were excellent ...
84 species including the Glossy Ibis, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Raven
(Thickson’s), 5 spp. warblers, Carolina Wren, Mockingbird, House & Marsh Wren,
Purple Martin (2 colonies), Red-necked Grebe and
First two male Baltimore Orioles have appeared at my feeders in Thickson Woods
today at 3 30, along with another small influx of the expected Warblers
including Nashville and Black-throated Green and Blue. Several Lincoln Sparrows
along with White-throated and Crowned.

Hi birders,
With the hot weather bird activity is limited, but there are still some
nice pockets of warblers and other birds out there.
A White-eyed Vireo was heard on South Point Trail this morning.
There was a Yellow-throated Vireo near the Black Oak Trail parking lot.

If you can't get down to Point Peele, and live in York region I have had 2 days
of a very active variety of Warblers, Wood Duck Pair in full colours, hairy
Wood Pecker, possibly Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker (looked like a Downy with red on
the head).

A great morning for birding at Point Pelee so far today. There was a good
migration of birds into the Park last night. It was a calm warm morning
greeting the birders at the Tip. Soon a breeze came up from the west and a
number of birds were noted moving off the Tip. That included a few Baltimor
NW side of Mississippi River under wooden Hydro line. In grassy field.

Good morning!
It's a good morning out there, with a significant arrival overnight.
South Point Trail was quite productive but the birds seem to have moved
away and is now very quiet. Arrivals here included Blue-winged,
Orange-crowned, Black-throated Blue Warblers, Ovenbird, Great Crested
Flycatch

We just found a male Summer Tanager just a few metres north of the Tip tram
stop, visible from the road. It is moving around so look for the people!

A male Eurasian Wigeon is currently in the
first (south) pond of the Moonbeam Sewage Lagoons. I found the bird yesterday
evening and just
saw it again this morning at 7am. It is
feeding alone on the far side of the pond near the grassy shore. Also in the
